I am not 100% sure, but this seems to be some kind of autoupdater (and did not work on my german NFS3). The EA site makes no mentionof the patch and its both brand new on their ftp and has a different filename than their autoupdater. So be careful.On a related note: While looking for documentation on the patch I found another autoupdater on EA's site, this timefor Tiger Woods Golf 99 to version 1.4 . It adds support for Voodoo Banshee, Matrox G200 and lots more.Use your Tiger Woods autoupdater to get this recent version. This patch fixes a lot of problems in the game:- Game does not load DirectX.
